Yesterday was our first ever BuyMyWardrobe Press Day and we’re already wishing we could do it all over again. We spent the day talking closets, eating cupcakes and sipping on cocktails!
The day was a great success, with some of the biggest names in fashion chatting, tweeting and even shopping pre-loved designer fashion.

Tomorrow our journalist and blogger friends are popping by the new London boutique for a sneaky look at our exclusive new online marketplace. We can’t say too much but make sure you check back for an exclusive fly-on-the-wall peek at our first ever press day!
Today’s challenge: Christopher Kane Leather Jacket.
Just in, this amazing black leather Christopher Kane jacket with embroidered flowers on the back is the perfect jacket for dressing for a confused summer. Here is how we styled this statement piece 3 different ways.
Look 1 is perfect for Friday night drinks or a night out, worn over a bright coral coloured blouse and a Gryphon velvet skirt with a black and gold print. This stylish outfit has been accessorised with a pair of vintage Carita gold earrings and a pair of sky-high Lanvin wedges.
For a more casual look, we paired the jacket with a striped Biba jumper dress, a suede black Jimmy Choo bag and oversized Tom Ford sunglasses. We added bright blue and gold Chanel heels for a splash of colour.
Going out for dinner? Wear the jacket over this white Halston dress (as seen on Sarah Jessica Parker in SATC 2) and pair it with classic, black peep-toe Christian Louboutin’s. Add a simple black BCBG clutch as a finishing touch.

Say hello to our newest intern, Emily, who showed us how she would style this sleeveless cream silk pussybow top for three different occasions, with items from our London boutique.
Heading for a date with the boyfriend, she rocks a couture metallic gold lace fitted skirt, sequin Prada flats (she’s pretty tall) and a classic Chanel 2.55 bag.
For look number two, a day in the office she teams it with a mustard Chloe flippy skirt, leopard print ponyskin tote by YSL and brown peep toe Christian Louboutin espadrilles.
Then it’s cocktails with the girls, styling it up with high waisted monochrome stripe shorts by Carven, a vintage Gucci patent handbag and hot pink Sergio Rossi kitten heels for an instant colour pop.
